Question: Goji Berries?
I read in a health mag that Goji berries do something to reduce amount of blood sugar in your body? Is this true, even saw in a movie that it reats asthma? Anyone know about the health benefits of Goji berries and it is real?
Answer: Goji berries (and juice) is promoted as a panacea by wackos in MLM (network marketing) companies otherwise known as pyramid schemes. Don't accept the "wisdom" of unqualified people.
Goji berries do have value as antioxidants and possibly as anti-inflammatories. However, be skeptical of the blood sugar claims. If you are trying to reduce blood sugar with supplements, I would advise researching them at http://www.nutritionaltree.com/reviews/diabetes/special-combinations/default.aspx. If you really wanted to buy Goji Juice, you can research different brands on the same site. By the way, the site does not sell anything. That is your first clue that their reviews might actually mean something.

Question: I have tried Lipovox and Goji pills for good general health. Better suggestions?
I wanted a good multi vitamin, but with something extra. I was disappointed with Lipovox (no shock there!), but the Goji pills worked ok, so before i go get some more, i wanted other peoples opinion. I just find when i stick to a strict diet i feel lethargic and completely unmotivated to exercise. Then when i get the ball rolling, the exercise increases my appetite! I was hoping someone out there has tried something that has really helped with general health and improved energy levels.
Answer: I hear you! Exercise ups my appetite, too. There are now green tea extract capsules out there that seem to help me with the eating thing, and they don't hit you with the lethargic thing. You might want to try some kava-kava for the energy. Good luck.
