Growing Wolfberries

Question: I have found a wolfberry shrub near my house in arizona can i transport it to my yard?
Or simply gather some of the fruit and plant the seeds and grown my own? I was on a walk today and foud this odd fruit bearing plant looked it up and learned all about wolfberries, now i would like to have one of my own. Anyone know anything about how to grow this plant? If i plant the seeds how much should i water etc.
Answer: I suggest you gather seeds and start a new plant.... too often, plants that do well in the wild, don't like it much when they are moved and don't like our rich beds of soil, either.....I'd try several different ways to start the seeds... in pots, in soil, in sand, in moist, in dry-er, in the ground in a patch of un-fixed soil..... see what comes up..... or research it here on the web.... since you know where the shrub is now, you can visit and collect seeds whenever you need some, right?....
