Question: Does anyone out there eat goji berries and are they as amazing as they seem to be?

I've just been reading about the miracle effects of the goji berry. Can it be true?

Answer: Some of what you are reading is promotional hype.They are very good for you as are blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc. All have good amounts of antioxidants. Goji berries may have a greater antioxidant content due to the high altitude in which they are grown (Himalayas). The best thing is to consume a wide variety of foods. Personally, I do enjoy goji berries. They come dried which will concentrate their natural sugar (fructose) content. If you have any blood sugar problems (hypoglycemia or diabetes), consume in small amounts. They are packed with energy--due to the concentrated sugars.
