Goji For Diabetes

goji for diabetes
Question: I would like to hear from anyone who has used...?

GOJI juice. I am considering purchasing it for health reasons, including improved digestion, joint health, and cardiovascular health. How have symptoms of whatever ailes you improved? Have you lost weight using it? Did it help your diabetes? Arthritis? Do you feel healthier? Younger? Less painful? I appreciate any and all honest answers. No sarcasm or snide remarks necessary. Thanks!

Answer: Hi pintobns, Goji, which is known as Lycium Barbarum in Latin, is a berry found in the Himalayas and has been held in high esteem throughout the ages for its nutritional benefits and health giving properties. Yes, I likes this juice. This juice gives me power for the whole day and with him I well sleep. Yes, most likely, this juice helpes me with lost weight, I have no diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, heart diseases,...

I know, that the nutritional benefits of Goji juice are being corroborated and confirmed by research and clinical studies. Studies with elderly people and those suffering from general debility have shown that consuming Goji juice can lead to a three-time increase in the T-cell transformation functions and the white cell interleukin-2 count can double. This opens up the possibilities of extracting even greater benefits from this berry, particularly for fighting tiredness, improving the working of the immune system, preventing the growth of free radicals, etc.

Goji juice is available with several health stores and a lot of these have online shops. The recommended dosage is 2-4 ounces per day; however, I likes this product so I exceeding the dosage. For me it is very tasty product.

Wolfberry

In English, we've often referred to Goji berry as "Wolfberry." Oddly enough, the original Chinese name has made it's way into the English vernacular so less and less over times is the word wolfberry used by anyone.

Goji or Wolfberry: Which is proper?

Technically, if you're speaking English, it is proper to call them Wolfberries, although it means exactly the same thing as Goji. However, if you are speaking to a Chinese-speaking person who is familiar with Goji, then that person may think that they've never heard of a wolfberry, so you should of course use the word Goji with them.

To further confuse the matter, if you are speaking to a native Chinese speaker, they would pronounce the word Goji more like Gow-dzue although still spell it goji in english letters.

Why is Goji the more popular word in English?

The popularity of the word Goji is in direct proportion to the marking of Goji-based MLM products. As soon as wolfberries were brought to the USA, some entrepreneur had the idea to make a Multi-Level-Marketing product and company based around them. However, their product name just sounded better with the word "Goji" in the title, and hence the name stuck in the brand-new market.
